Definetly a great piece. Light and dark values are really well done and placed, giving a sensation of realsim, even with such a surreal atmosphere. The clock as the moon is a magnificient idea and does not seem out of place. I particularly like the tree which reminds me of some Tim Burton's movies. I had a lot of fun twhile trying to find all the skulls hidden in the sky. The only thing that might be reworked is the person iside the hourglass. It is there, yet the eye isn't much attracted toward him at first. Unless that was the goal. Even there, I don,t understand why is face is that distorded. He looks more of an ape than a human being. Other than that, awesome job. I can tell the love ^^

Thanks a ton for your views on the piece i really appreciate it :D And actually yeah i made the guy look kinda like ape on purpose... i wanted to show someone being trapped inside an unbreakable prison and how brutal it could get if every second is a step towards his demise.. he'll get weary and old and ofc grow his beard and hair :p but yeah i agree i should have worked even more on that guy.. thank you so much again and i am glad you had alot of fun with this artwork.. i wish goodluck to you!! :D

Awesome! I'm I the only one seeing an ethereal Ursaring? :)

CedricGO responds:

Thank you! And no you're not the only one. It was mentionned to me a few times before and now I can't unsee it! XD

Wow! He reminds me of the Dark Savant from Wizardry a little :)

DeathrayDieDie responds:

thanks, i googled it, and he looks pretty cool :)

0.o!!!! Never thougth you'd like him that much ^^ You even managed to do him better than I (well okay I was fooling around when doing him but still) You gave me a good laught and a good minute with my mind only being able to say this: omg...! Good one :)

JacquesTheron responds:

thanx, but i see i forgot the earrings so i guess the makes him a bit of a fraud

That's only one colour? Holy.... Now I can see the power of grayscale.... You're a winner for sure in my book. And it's not just fear here, it's horror in all it's glory. One word: Awesome!

lilyhosegood responds:

thanks dude! people are so nice here xD I should draw spiders coming out of peoples eyes more often :')

Have you tried to use a blender on your pencil work? It gives a nice feel to skin. If you don't have one, Q-tips are pretty good too. Anyway, good work :)

crossina responds:

no i don't have one thanks for the heads up:)

Holy! That's one wrinkled lady ;) Amazing job. I can almost feel her skin when I look at her. And the feather..! Awesome!

cocolongo responds:

Thank you Miliade!

I really like how you made her! She looks really mischievous and maybe a little devilish. Thought she may be a wee bit too skinny, almost anorexic.... Great job in overall ;)

Luckytime responds:

I just like to draw lean characters, but maybe I'll tweak the style next time so it has a broader appeal. Thanks for your feedback!

The concept is good. Howerver, I feel like she is somewhat disbalanced because of her huge head. Maybe making her a tad taller would fix this. As for the colors, I love the palette you used. I'm not sure about the litle cape-thingy on her shoulder. I don't know, it just somewhat seems a bit cliché. Anyway, overall, it think this character is great and I totally see her bossing everyone around :)

ArtistGamerGal responds:

Thanks so much for the feedback!

The large head may feel a bit more in place once you see her with other characters from this world since they all kind of have crazy proportions, but I will certainly take that into consideration! She is on the extreme side of "tall and skinny" in this world.

I'm really glad you like the palette! I wasn't totally sure about the cape thing and may not have her wear it all the time being as it isn't super practical anyway :p

And you totally nailed her personality! Thanks for the feedback!

It's great! Finnaly somebody else that do things traditionnaly. It's good. I told you the robot would stand out in cold colors. Good job ;)

thank you for the advice :P
